Part-time Dog Walker / Pet Sitter
Our current service areas are Glastonbury, East Hartford, Portland, Wethersfield, Marlborough and surrounding towns. As a Dog Walker / Pet Sitter, you'd be responsible for providing a safe and enjoyable walks for dogs, as well as other pet care duties for dogs, cats & other domestic pets (ex: feeding, playtime, litterbox scooping and oral medication).
Prompt, reliable & clear communication with pet guardians and our team is essential. This includes adorable photos and detailed visit reports that highlight the exceptional care & enrichment we provide. If interested, additional services that are available in this position are Marketing, Housesitting (overnight at the client’s home), Boarding (overnight at your home), Hikes & Pet Transportation.

• You are able to pass a federal background check and have safe, reliable transportation.
• You are able to successfully complete certifications in Pet First Aid / CPR through the American Red Cross & Canine Body Language & Defensive Handling through IAABC.
• You are willing to maintain your own pet care insurance policy.
• Willing to successfully complete 1:1 pet sitter training; shadowing a current Paw-Pros caregiver.
• You have a smart phone & are comfortable using apps, taking photos and texting to communicate with clients.
